The Flavours of Harmony: A First Nations Feast of Healing Cuisine

The First Nations Feast of Healing Cuisine is a unique gala event, jointly sponsored by The Native Men’s Residence and the Friends of Alternative & Complementary Therapies (FACT), will highlight the convergence of health and culture of Canada’s First Nations people.

Please join us in this celebration of First Nations foods, presented within the context of their indigenous healing values. Our culinary team will be led by nationally renowned Aboriginal chef and television personality David Wolfman, star of "Cooking with the Wolfman" on APTN.

Presentations on Canadian First Nations culture will highlight Aboriginal Traditional wisdom, as it relates to health and nutrition, from a holistic perspective. A special souvenir booklet will be published. There will be a reception, cultural performances, displays and a silent auction. All proceeds raised from the event will be used to support the work of the two non-profit organizations.
